Coffee and a Prayer
On the first Monday of the month from 7:30am to 8:30am the Evangelism Committee and other volunteers share coffee, doughnuts, and an invitation to worship to passersby at the corner of Grandin and Brandon.  Lots of volunteers are needed! If you are available at that time of day, please join us as we share the love of God in our community.  Contact Pastor Cindy (982-8334; pastorcindy@christlutheranroanoke.org) for more information or to volunteer.

Current needs for the CIA Pac a Snac - Your snack donations have been inspiring. Greatest needs now are fruit cups, juice boxes and small jars of peanut butter. Gently worn mittens, scarves, gloves or rain boots could be used for students in need in grades K-3. The ministry is currently serving 71 students each weekend in our four area elementary schools. Thanks be to God for your support!

Handyman Club
Christ Lutheran Handyman Club meets the second Tuesday of each month at 8:00 AM at the Salem Pancake House and then return to the church for a morning of handyman chores. It is open to anyone interested in helping with small chores and fix-it projects around the church.

Prayer Ministry Team
All are welcome. If you have a particular prayer concern, come and let us pray with or for you. Please join us on the first Monday of each month at 9:30 AM.

Yarn and a Prayer
This group gathers to knit/crochet prayer shawls and baptismal blankets. You don't need to know how to knit or crochet to join this group. There are people there to teach you this skill. This is a wonderful opportunity to share fellowship, learn a new craft and create beautiful shawls (to be given to people needing prayer) and blankets (to be given to babies being baptized). This event is open to all!  We gather at 3:30pm in the parlor on the 4th Wednesday of each month.

Light the Next 100 for Christ! On Sunday, March 19, 2017 Christ Lutheran Church members and friends offered pledges of support for the ministry of this congregation through our current capital campaign.  With gifts, pledges, and matching funds from the congregation's endowment, we are close to meeting our $1.5 million dollar goal!

Wednesdays in Lent - March 13th-April 10th: Soup & Bread Suppers - 6 pm in the Fellowship Hall; Evening Prayer - 7 pm in the Sanctuary; Mid-week Lenten Bible Study – 7:30 pm in the Chapel.
